Happy Birthday Adam!

What more could a sister ask for?

i carry your heart with me
(i carry it in my heart)
i am never without it
(anywhere i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)

i want no world(for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)

and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart
(i carry it in my heart)

this has nothing to do with Adam's birthday(although i do hope it was a happy one!), but since you are the one to introduce my family to Dave Barnes, i figured i would ask you: Did you know he is married? Why doesn't he ever mention a wife, or an "other" of any kind? (i mean, i know that he sings about an "other", but i have scoured his web page and i see no mention of a wife and no wedding ring.) do you know?

thanks.

Hey Sky,

I didn't know that he was married! Hmm...that is weird that he kind of kept it a secret. I have not listened to that cd in a while. I'll have to dust it off! FYI-- My artist of the week is Gavin Degraw.

have you seen the movie "in her shoes" starring cameron diaz and toni colette? you should watch it. if for no other reason than to see what happens in one of the last scenes. i won't spoil it by telling you more. just trust me. it pertains to the poem you posted.
